Blythe Graham-Jones, a former advertising executive, now makes millions from purchasing and renovating properties in the Hamptons. She and her husband bought a $635,000 home in East Hampton in 2017 while living in a rental in Brooklyn. They started renting it out immediately and reinvested short-term rental income into the property. They secured a $250,000 HELOC loan and used this money to complete a major property renovation, which included adding a bathroom and removing one of the bedroom walls to create a bigger living room and open kitchen. The couple then sold their second home in 2022 for $1.55 million. Since then, their real estate portfolio has grown, including a property they plan to rent out soon and a property in Montauk that they hope to flip by summer's end.
