The US and Israeli military strikes on Iran have divided the Iranian diaspora, with some expressing support for the attacks and expressing concern about potential escalation and casualties. While others have expressed skepticism about the motivations behind the strikes. Oil prices rose after the US and Israel launched strikes against Iran. The death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has led to many reactions from inside Iran, including a video posted on social media stating, "If I die, I'm okay with it." The Iranian Defense Secretary claimed that the strikes were not a "regime change war", despite President Donald Trump's calls for regime change.
