Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) has revealed that she flew to the Middle East to evacuate hundreds of Americans stranded during the Iran-Iran war. Mace, who is seeking the GOP nomination for governor in her home state, worked with the U.S. State Department to secure transportation for Grey Bull Rescue, a Florida-based nonprofit that evacuates American citizens and allies from war zones and natural disaster areas. The group has rescued a total of 591 Americans from the region since the conflict began on February 28.
