Philadelphia finally gets an indoor bus terminal

Philadelphia's newest (interim) bus terminal, 1001 Filbert Street, will open on Friday. The new building features a dedicated indoor space with bathrooms, nearly 200 seats, 13,000 square feet of public space, a private lactation pod, and vending machines. The $5 million project was completed in time for the World Cup and America's 250th birthday events. The city is still seeking a permanent intercity bus station.
