Yeferson Cossio, a Colombian content creator with over 12.5 million Instagram followers, has been banned by Avianca and threatened with legal action for pretending to break wind on a plane. The incident occurred during a flight from Bogotá, Colombia to Madrid, Spain on March 11. Aviancas, a major South American commercial carrier, stated that the stunt jeopardizes the safety of its operations and compromises the onboard experience for customers and service personnel. The airline also noted that the incident occurred in a closed environment, with a pressurised air recirculation system, posing a direct risk to its customers. Cossia was not immediately available to comment on the incident.
