A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicates that Defiance ETFs is planning to launch a biopharma-focused ETF, which will track an index of companies within the biopharmaceutical and health-care equipment and services industry groups. The fund will be non-diversified, allowing it to allocate larger portions of assets to fewer than one company per cent of its holdings. Additionally, Defiance plans to donate 100% of its net advisory profits from the fund to organizations supporting autism services, research, and access to care. If approved, this would add to the growing pipeline of thematic health-related ETFs.
