A massive fire broke out at a car parts factory in the South Korean city of Daejeon on March 20, killing 14 people and injuring nearly 60 others. The blaze was likely started by an explosion. Among the injured, 25 people were seriously injured. Over 200 lbs. of highly reactive chemicals were recovered from the building. The fire was so severe that workers were already jumping out of the building's windows. The remains of one person were found on the second floor of the factory, while nine other bodies were discovered on the third floor.
