Jordan Obi, a junior at Kentucky University, has been instrumental in the team's progress to the NCAA Sweet 16 after suffering from a torn Achilles in a 2024 summer practice. Her first game back from the injury was the 2025-26 opener, where she scored a double-double. Obi transferred to Kentucky from Penn for coach Kenny Brooks' inaugural season and has been key to the team’s progress. Outside of basketball, Obi also knows three languages, is a DJ, knits and reads, and is known for her mental and physical strength. Her adaptability has been a key to Kentucky's first Sweet 16 berth in 10 years.
