Jeff and Ryan Odom, senior adviser at Axios, are both men who have been battling prostate cancer for over a decade and maintain their roles without fuss or self-promotion. Odom is set to become the winningest first-year coach in UVA history, and the second seed behind Duke in the ACC Tournament. His wife, Jeff, had to cancel a surprise party last month due to illness and complications from treatment, including 3 ER visits and an unscheduled surgery. Despite these setbacks, Jeff continues to work quietly and carries out his passion for the American Cancer Society. He is also a longtime member of ACS's Coaches vs. Cancer board and has contributed over $100,000 to the charity event in recent years.
