Adams County deputies responded to a reported stabbing in the early morning hours of Tuesday morning in the area of 70th Avenue and Dexter Street. The suspect, a 32-year-old man, ran away before deputies arrived and a K9 unit began tracking him down. Deputies gave commands to him, and two of them shot at him. He was taken to the hospital and a handgun was recovered at the scene. The deputies involved have been placed on administrative leave.
