Averitt, a major transportation and supply chain management company, is expanding in Charlotte, adding 211 jobs to its workforce of 182. The company is set to build a $200-plus million campus on 100 acres near Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The jobs will include drivers, dock associates, diesel mechanics, and other logistics positions. The construction will begin in 2028.
