Deputies make arrest following murder of Hamlet man

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 27-year-old man for the murder of 20-year old Tykeem Amir Ellerbe. The arrest followed a joint investigation by the Hamlet Police Department and the Richardson County Sheriff's Office. The investigation involved multiple agencies working together to apprehend the suspect. While Elemande died from his injuries, a second victim was injured during the incident.
