Taylor Frankie Paul’s Ex Dakota Mortensen Granted Temporary Custody of Their Son

Taylor Frankie Paul's ex, Dakota Mortensen, has been granted temporary custody of their 2-year-old son. The order states that no parent time will be allowed until a hearing on April 7, and that Paul will only be allowed to speak during this time. This comes after Mortensen filed a protective order against Paul, alleging that she choked him and pushed him into a window during a February 2026 incident. Disney cancelled the premiere of Paul's season of The Bachelorette on its network ABC following the incident. The Draper Police Department confirmed that there is an open domestic assault investigation into the exes but declined to comment further.
