Tornadoes and large hail are possible as risk has been upgraded for Saturday's storms in Oklahoma. The biggest threat for large, damaging hail is in southeastern Oklahoma near Ardmore, Ada, Seminole, Durant, and McAlester. The tornado index has increased to 6 out of 10, indicating an increased risk for Southeastern Oklahoma, south-central Oklahoma, and the OKC metro. KOCO 5 Meteorologist Mikayla Smith warns of another alert day for Oklahoma, with a level 4 moderate risk of storms being issued for part of the state. The severe storm risk also comes with an increase in the tornado index.
