The rescue was part of one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in US History. The airman was injured but will be fine, according to Trump. This is the first time in military history that two US Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. All US rescue forces have reportedly left the country following the mission.
