Republican candidate for senator Nate Morris has resigned following President Donald Trump's announcement that he would rather serve in his administration as an ambassador. The announcement was made following a meeting with Morris and suggested that he had a great future in politics. Meanwhile, Trump endorsed Republican Rep. Andy Barr in the Kentucky race. Both Morris and Barr have been competing for the soon-to-be-vacant seat of Sen. Mitch McConnell.
