Apple's most expensive phone, the iPhone Fold, could be delayed into 2027 due to engineering issues during the engineering test phase of the phone. This could potentially mean that the launch of the device may not go on sale until next year. The issue has been revealed through multiple sources, with suppliers warned that they may need to delay production of components for the new device. This delay could potentially extend the launch into next year, as Barclays analyst last year suggested it was likely to launch in December rather than alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models in September. There is a possibility that this delay could further delay the launch.
