Swedish athlete Armand Duplantis set a new world record of 6.31m at the Mondo Classic indoor meeting in Uppsala, 2026, marking his 15th time breaking the world record since setting it in 2020. The record was set at 5.65m before clearing 5.90m and 6.08m, surpassing his previous best by just one centimetre. Sondre Guttormsen of Norway came second and Zachery Bradford and Sam Kendricks of Australia’s Kurtis Marschall of Australia finished third and fourth respectively. The event's single world record covers both indoor and outdoor performances.
