One Chicago Showrunners Break Down Epic Three-Show Crossover—Upstead Reunion, Pascal’s Sacrifice & ‘Med’ Baby

The One Chicago 3-episode crossover event, airing on NBC's One Chicago, has exceeded expectations and exceeded them. The showrunners included Chicago Fire’s Andrea Newman, Chicago Med's Allen MacDonald, and Chicago P.D. Gwen Sigan. The event saw a plane land in freezing temperatures, reuniting Upstead, and keeping characters alive from all three shows under quarantine at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. All three showrunners were asked to answer questions left behind in the aftermath of the crossover. The main character Haily Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) were reunited in the same episode.
