Waynesville boys basketball team advanced to the D-V regional final after a double overtime victory over Versailles. The game ended at 46 points, with a tie and one lead change, leading to Waynesville's last-second layup attempts not falling. Senior guard Drake Ahrens scored six of the Tigers' first 10 points in the first extra period. After a score of 56-55, Waynesvians senior Lucas Rocha started a 7-0 Spartans run that included four free throws made in four attempts from Rutledge and Sesslar. The Tigers were unable to get within three points. Waynesev will face fourth-seeded Summit Country Day in the regional final at Xavier University's Cintas Center.
