Colombian Filmmaker & Cannes Winner Simón Mesa Soto Signs With UTA

The United Talent Agency (UTA) has signed Colombian filmmaker and Cannes Film Festival regular Simón Mesa Soto for representation in all areas. His latest feature, Un Poeta (A Poet), premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 festival and won the Jury Prize. The film was selected as Colombia's official submission for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards and received multiple nominations.
