Taiwanese chain 85°C Bakery Cafe is set to open its first New Mexico location at Winrock Town Center later this year. The restaurant, named for its ideal temperature for coffee, plans to offer fresh pastries, breads, cakes, and specialty drinks. The company's founder, Cheng-Hsueh Wu, launched the business in Taiwan in 2003 and has since expanded its operations to 13 additional states, with New Mexico marking its 15th. The store will occupy a 2,978-square-foot space formerly occupied by Slapfish. The opening of the location will be completed between late summer and early fall.
