Cool weekend start, warm finish

The weather will be cooler in Southern Colorado today, with highs in the 50s to 60s across the state, followed by a cold front that brought in a cold snap. This weekend will be warmer, with temperatures expected to reach the 40s and 50s. However, there is a Freeze Watch in effect from 11pm Saturday to 8am Sunday. By Wednesday, fire weather will return due to dry and breezy conditions, and temperatures will remain in the mid-20s.
