A former detective with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Kurt Dabb, has revealed that the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, 84, from her home in Catalina Foothills, near Tucson, may have involved up to ‘two to four accomplices. The former investigator believes the abduction was likely a coordinated abduction involving multiple accomplices, not a random crime. Despite limited new footage and no suspects have been identified, analysis of blood evidence suggests that Guthrie may have been seriously injured at the time of her abduction. Forensic testing is ongoing over 47 days after the 84-year-old woman was believed to have been taken from home on February 1. The case, which has now stretched beyond six weeks, has left few clear leads. No arrests have been made despite ongoing efforts and efforts to locate further video evidence.
