Audie Awards 2026: ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’ Wins Audiobook of the Year

The 31st Annual Audie Awards, the awards program for audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment, have revealed their winners. Suzanne Collins' "Sunrise on the Reaping," a prequel to her Hunger Games trilogy, was named Audiobook of the Year. The APA received a record-breaking number of submissions this season, with over 2,300 entries, a 42% increase over the past five years. Among the winners, Kristin Atherton won the best fiction narrator award for "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon, Blair Underwood won best non-fiction narrator for "Truly" by Lionel Richie. The inaugural Audio Publishers Association Hall of Fame inductees included legendary narrators George Guidall, Hillary Huber, January LaVoy, Robin Miles and Simon Vance.
