Former SAS soldier, Ben Roberts-Smith, has been arrested on multiple charges of war crimes in Australia. His legal team did not seek bail and he was transferred to Silverwater Correctional Complex in Sydney's west. The charges stem from a joint investigation by the Australian Federal Police and the Office of the Special Investigator. Roberts, who was awarded several top military honours for his role in Afghanistan, will remain in jail until June 4 if his legal team cannot secure an earlier hearing.
