The Cleveland Cavaliers won 116-109 against the Pistons in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series, largely thanks to Max Strus' performance. The victory, which puts the Cavs at 2-0 down in the series, was crucial as the Pistons had led a 64-48 halftime deficit and took a 101-100 lead with less than five minutes to play. Coach Kenny Atkinson described Strus as a "maniac competitor" who provided "wildness" for the win. The game ended in a victory for the Cavaliers, with Donovan Mitchell and James Harden scoring nine of their 19 points in the fourth quarter. The series will now head to Detroit for Game 5.
