Rodeo Houston sees record-breaking bids at junior market auctions

Record-breaking bids at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's junior market auctions have led to record-breaking performances. Nine auctions saw record-setting bids, including a $1 million bid for the grand champion lamb raised by West Texas high schooler Reagan Miller. The money generated from the junior market largely supports Rodeso Houston's scholarship and grant programs. Bids come from Houston's "titans of industry" and supporters of the show. The event, which concludes Sunday, saw bidders spend $4 million at auction ahead of the markets.
