Work from home, avoid air travel to deal with higher energy prices, IEA says

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has proposed working from home, reducing highway speed limits and avoiding air travel to help alleviate rising energy prices. The IEA has also outlined a list of measures to combat the impact of the U.S-Israeli war with Iran. This follows a record release of 400 million barrels of oil from strategic stockpiles earlier in the month. The proposals include reducing highway speeds by at least 10 kilometres per hour and avoiding flights. The executive director of the IEA, Fatih Birol, emphasised the need for immediate measures to protect consumers from the impacts of this crisis.
