More than half of Jersey adults overweight or obese, says report

A report by Public Health Jersey (PHJ) has revealed that over half of the island's adult population is overweight or obese, with a higher proportion for men (66%) than women (48%). The report also revealed that 54% of adults are meeting UK guidelines for moderate intensity activities, while only 46% are very time poor. The study also found that 61% of men met the recommended levels of exercise.
