James Gray's anticipated next film, "Paper Tiger," starring Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller, will compete at the Cannes Film Festival. The film will be world premiere in competition, while Neon has secured North American rights for the film. Gray, a longtime Cannes favorite, has previously directed five films to the festival and served on the Cannes jury in 2009. His films have been distributed by a wide range of U.S. distributors, including Miramax, Sony Pictures Classics, Magnolia Pictures, Amazon Studios, 20th Century Fox, and Focus Features. The deal with Neon indicates Neon's strong presence on the Croisette this year.
