Berlin airport suspends passenger traffic on Wednesday due to strike

The strike is part of an ongoing dispute between the union and the airport, which is seeking a salary increase of 6% or at least €250 in pay raises for its 2,000 employees. The union is also seeking a new collective agreement set to run for a year.
