A Portland non-profit, The Feed em' Freedom Foundation (FFF), has reported that a tractor and other farming equipment were stolen from their new headquarters over the weekend. The organization aims to reduce food insecurity in BIPOC communities by growing food and training farmers. Executive Director Shantae Johnson said their farmers provide food for 300 families in need and manage multiple farms. The stolen tractor makes it easier to plant important crops and could lead to a need for new plant starts. The theft has been reported to Gresham police.
