KCSO: Four arrested after deputies find 200 pounds of stolen copper wire during search

Four people have been arrested following a search warrant in Bakersfield, California, tied to copper wire thefts. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office found about 200 pounds of stolen commercial-grade copper wire, burglary tools, and an active illegal marijuana grow. The search was part of a copper wire theft investigation. Rodolfo Juarez, Maricela Cruz, Rene Gutierrez Cortez, and Emily Yasnia were among those arrested. The copper wire found during the search was consistent with the type of wire reported stolen from surrounding areas. All were transported and booked into the Kern County Jail.
