John Hannah reuniting with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz for fourth film in ‘The Mummy’ franchise

John Hannah, who played Jonathan Carnahan, the brother of Rachel Weisz in the trilogy, will return for the 2028 film. The film will also feature Academy Award winners Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weishz. The upcoming fourth film will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The Mummy grossed $422.5 million in 1999 and inspired an equally successful 2001 sequel and 2003.
