Two U.S. embassy officials, including one Mexican official and an officer, died in a car crash in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The incident follows the death of Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, who was killed by the Mexican military in February. The embassy had previously worked to shut down a drug lab in Morelos.
