A motorcyclist has been arrested following a crash in the Atwater area of Merced County, California. The California Police Department (Phenomenomen) observed a motorcyclism without a helmet and accelerated when it was attempted to stop it. The rider fled on foot and hid in the Weber Canal, where additional units were called in to secure the arrest. The suspect was later charged with multiple driving-related violations.
