New data reveals that Montana, Louisiana, and Indiana are the top three locations where healthcare professionals are earning over $300,000 per year. The study also revealed that these states are among the highest-paying locations for remote healthcare roles. The rise of telehealth technology means physicians can perform consultations, produce patients’ plans and treatment plans virtually, making it easier for patients to be easily accessible. However, some roles cannot be delivered remotely, such as surgeon and anethesiology roles. Additionally, a study by Resume Genius revealed that psychiatrists rank the highest for remote work, with the role paying an average of $300K.
