Dijon Davis, 19, was charged and immediately pleaded guilty to murdering Minneapolis DJ Justin "Juice" Marshall in 2025. Davis admitted to one count of intentional second-degree murder and admitted to having a verbal altercation with Marshall before fatally shooting him. The plea deal led to the resolution of other cases involving Davis, his attorney Michael Jaimet said. Other charges against Davis from the shooting were dismissed as part of the agreement. The guilty plea was submitted before Davis made his initial court appearance, bypassing the early stages of most court proceedings. Other pending cases against Davis are expected to be resolved after his sentencing on May 7.
