The University of Florida has been named a "New Ivy" by Forbes for the second time, placing it in the ranks of Harvard, Yale, and the original Ivies. The recognition was based on how well schools are preparing students for a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence. With a 24% acceptance rate and strong test scores, UF is considered a national leader in prepping students for an AI-driven world. The university has also invested heavily in its AI Across the Curriculum initiative, which includes a nine-credit AI Fundamentals & Applications Certificate and discipline-specific AI certificates.
