SpaceX has launched its 50th mission of the year, with a rocket carrying 25 of its broadband satellites. The rocket lifted off from California on April 26, with the first stage returning for a landing on the ground eight minutes later. This marks the 15th launch and landing for the Falcon 9 booster, named 1088. The spacecraft were deployed on schedule and join the largest constellation ever assembled, with 42 of SpaceX's 50 launches this year being from the Starlink platform. The company is also preparing for the 12th suborbital trial of its rocket, which is still in the test-flight phase.
