The USC and Washington men's basketball teams are set to play in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament, which both teams are out of the NCAA Tournament. USC is currently facing a seven-game losing streak, which most recently saw an 89-68 rivalry loss to UCLA. Several key players, including point guard Rodney Rice and guard Amarion Dickerson, are injured, along with leading scorer Chad Baker-Mazara, who is no longer with the team. Coach Eric Musselman attributed these injuries to the difficult second half of the season and the travel schedule of the conference. Washington currently has seven scholarship players available. The winner of the game will move on to play fifth-seeded and No. 23-ranked Wisconsin in the third round.
