The Herald-News area has highlighted five players to watch for this upcoming baseball season. Hogan, an All-Southwest Prairie Conference player last season, hit a combined score of 43.6. The Warriors lost key players from their 33-4 team last year, including CJ Deckinga (Michigan State) and Brayden Zilis (Illinois State). Zane Caves, a senior from the team, will return to the field this season. Meanwhile, Farina is the lone Herald-news All-Area first-team choice back this season for Lockport, where he was referred to as perhaps the most underrated pitcher in the state.
