Subway Slasher Convicted In Brutal Unprovoked Attack, DA Says

A New York State Supreme Court jury has convicted 24-year-old Orsen Reyes of attempted murder and multiple assault for an unprovoked attack on a man in December 2024. The victim was left with significant injuries including a traumatic brain injury, a fractured orbital bone, and multiple cuts to his face, neck, and face. Reyes was arrested at the 59th Street–Columbus Circle station with a knife and two screwdrivers.
