The United States Postal Service (USPS) has released a 15-stamp sheet featuring five lowrider builds, marking the beginning of the recognition of lowrider culture. The stamps were released during an event in San Francisco where many lowrider fans and postal employees were present. The cars featured are a 1958 Chevrolet Impala called "Eight Figures," a 1963 Chevrolet Imala named "El Rey," and a 1987 Cutlass Supreme. The stamp was launched by several car clubs across the San Francisco area, and attendees noted its recognition of the culture's significance.
