Baylor defeated the Gophers 67-48 in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Crown tournament in Las Vegas. The Bears outscored 17-1 in the first six minutes of the second half to take a 48-27 lead. The Gophers responded with a 15-6 run to pull within 54-42. Tounde Yessoufou led the Bears with 19 points, and 17 points from graduate transfer Obi Agbim.
