Lauren Halsey Makes LA’s Hollywood Bowl Her ‘Funk Garden’

American artist Lauren Halsey is set to present her site-specific installation, emajendat, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 29. The event will include immersive artworks, community activities, and a concert featuring Erykah Badu, Anderson.Paak, the Charles Gaines Collective and Black Nile. The installation first debuted in 2024 at Serpentine Galleries and is expected to be a repeat of the experience. Tickets go on sale on May 5.
