Father of teen charged in mass shooting convicted of 2nd-degree murder

Colin Gray, the father of the teenager charged in the 2024 Apalachee High School mass shooting, has been convicted of second-degree murder and other charges. He was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in relation to the killings of educators Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Cristina Irimie. The conviction comes nearly two years after James and Jennifer Crumbley became the first parents in the US to be held accountable for a mass shooting committed by their child. Gray's attorney argued that Gray did not know the shooting would happen and blamed the blame on his son.
