Lakers' newest addition, Luke Kennard, has been praised for creating 'the blender' for the team's offense in their recent win over the Warriors, a game where the Lakers' three best players (Luka Doncic, LeBron James and Austin Reaves) all had strong performances. Coach JJ Redick praised Kennard for creating a closeout and making the right read and play from there, which was part of a successful strategy. Kennard's 16-point performance against the Warriors was his highest scoring total since being traded to the Lakers on Feb. 5. The Lakers value Kennard’s ability to set good screens and play well in the paint, as well as his ability to run the ball to the paint.
