Isabelle Valdez and Lois Lippert, two teenagers from Lake Brantley High School, have been charged as adults in a murder plot. They are accused of planning to murder a boy at their school and believing that by killing the boy, they could bring the shooter back to life. The girls were arrested after their January arrest and have been accused of being obsessed with the boy because they believed he resembled the shooter from the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre in 2012. They allegedly planned to bring a knife to the school with flowers, candy and cigarettes as part of a ritual to carry out their plan. Body camera video from the state attorney's office shows the arrest of Valdez, followed by Lrippert being handcuffed. Prosecutors have played a video in court showing the girls joking about the case.
